Tim Jones
With over 30 years’ in the industry – Tim has experienced the world of finance from both broker and lender point of view during his time at Merrill Lynch, Standard Chartered Bank and Abbey National.
In 2007 he started his own brokerage up in Manchester before moving the business down to Devon and becoming Start Point Finance. Since moving down Tim has got involved wherever he can including as a Director of Kingsbridge Rugby Club and an active member of Devon and Plymouth Chamber of Commerce as well as other business groups.
In his spare time Tim enjoys gig rowing in the Salcombe Estuary, driving a Community Bus and walking his dog Ruby on the beach every morning.
Toby Jones
Toby joined Tim in the creation of the family business in 2011 and has been key in making Start Point Finance become what it is today. Based in Bristol, Toby actively engages in various networks in order to help business owners access working capital.
His vast range of knowledge makes Toby a one stop shop for all things funding related and having strong connections across the South West means he can always point you in the right direction for your finance needs.
When Toby isn’t at work, you can find him playing football or running.
